CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation

CHOC's core business is to support children with cancer and life-threatening blood disorders and their families.Over 36 years CHOC's holistic approach has developed to meet the practical and psychosocial needs of children and their families

SANBS

SANBS is a non-profit organisation; therefore, ownership of its assets does not vest in its members. In the event that SANBS should stop operating, its assets would have to be transferred to an organisation with similar goals and objectives

Rainbows and Smiles

The mission of Rainbows and Smiles is to provide emotional, social and financial support to families and caregivers in need when a child (or children) of that family is diagnosed with cancer

Sunflower Fund

The South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR) is in desperate need of donors from all ethnic groups and mixed ethnic backgrounds.Without financial support the work of the SABMR would come to a complete halt

SPCA Richards Bay

The Empangeni SPCA was started in Zululand in 1972 and then went on to assist in establishing the Richards Bay SPCA as per our objectives. SPCA stands for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. This means any animal, whether it is a dog, cat, bird, reptile, horse, cow, sheep or goat.

Wonderkids Pre-school & Day Care Centre

Apart from providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for the children, Wonderkids aims to train teachers from rural and under privileged communities.

Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage & Conservation Fund

Thula Thula is dedicated to the conservation, protection and survival of endangered species and is an expansion project for elephant and rhino. Community projects such as this, not only support the wildlife, but also improve local employment and education.

Thuthukani Special School

Thuthukani Special School in Empangeni is a school for children with intellectual disability aged 6 to 18 years. They strive to empower and uplift the quality of life of the children of Zululand who have intellectual disability to function as active, participating members of local communities.

NSRI

Sea Rescue is the charity that saves lives on South African waters. The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) is run by over 1 000 highly skilled, unpaid volunteers who are on standby day and night throughout the year.
